"Very nice kit"

Nice details as expected from Zvezda. Easy to assemble. No decals.

The kit goes together quickly but has gaps around the cupola. The turret is one piece so the gun doesn't elevate but the turret turns. The detail is quite good. This kit has a staggering total of 9 parts but no decals. this is your chance to get a panzer III for under 5 bucks how can ya go wrong?

I have always like things in miniature. These Zvezda 1/100 kits are an excellent example of smaller is better. The Panzer III only contains 9 parts, well molded in a harder plastic that you would usually find in other kits, but still very workable. The parts fit snug and line up correctly and the detail is amazing for this size, better than some of the 1/72 scale kits out there, and dare I say some of the 1/35 scale kits also. You don not even need glue. I took the parts and dry fitted them all very carefully and sanded some to actually fit a little looser, that way I could glue them. Assemble this tank in about 1/2 hour and after it is dry...paint. I painted mine Tamiya desert brown, to show a vehicle from the Africa Corps. The only drawback is there are no decals within all of these kits that I have bought, so you will need to get creative with your markings. All in all, a wonderful afternoon project, fast, easy and painless, and it looks so cool when finished. Enjoy!!!!
