"great"

The first time I got these I made mistakes cutting them from the spruce because I forgot that these miniatures come in hard plastic. However the second time I got them I was able to negate that problem. The miniatures come with out the need for glue to put shields on. But I recommend glue if you want the shields to be permanent. Be careful not to drop the model as the shield will fly off in a random direction like under a couch as I have had happen.

"Great figures"
angusjwhittaker
These figures really could not get much better. The poses are all very life-like; one can almost here their battle cries as they raid coastal villages. The sculpting is impeccable, and no flash is to be found anywhere on the figures. The shields are not originally attached to the figures, and must be glued on, thus facilitating the painting of both sides of the shields with more ease. A must buy for any modeller of the period.

"VIKINGS!"

Highly detailed. Well sculpted. Mostly historical, with the one very minor oddity being that they're not wearing their seaxes in front as was done back in the day. Experts on the era would know more than I do, though. The poses on these are fantastic, and the molding was done fairly well. Out of 40ish figures, only one had any issues (a spearman missing half his spear). Looking forward to painting these up so they look even prettier than they do now.

"Perfectly detailed figures. Little flash. Took time to work with the shields."

The figures are great and fit well fighting the Anglo Saxons. Painting the shields and getting them on the best matching figure took a lot of time.
