I am currently in the build process and this is a very nicely detailed model with lot's of engraved panel lines. That's the good. The bad....Fit issues with wings and fuselage and very poor instructions from all aspects assembly and painting. More good....It came with precut masks, something I've not used yet and they are great. It also comes with PE seat belts, which I have stashed at the moment to use later when I feel like dabbling with PE. It's well worth the purchase but the instructions really bring it down to a three star for me.

I just received the kit in the mail. I opened it up and everything was in the box and in great shape. This is the first kit I will be assembling that has canopy mask and photo etch pieces. I am eager to get started on it.

The kit builds up fine. But it is not for beginners. 1. Instructions. As someone else noted the instructions leave something to be desired. In fact, they're an odd combination of both very good and very bad. The first few steps are great. They have reference photos which are clear and helpful. But after that it is like they stopped trying. The instructions at times are blurry and there are no more reference photos 2. Fit. Again an odd combination of very good and very bad. The fuselage fits nicely with no trouble at all. But the bottom wing does not properly line up at all. And there's really nothing that can be done about it. Its just not well molded. The top portion of the dive flaps don't properly join to the central control linkage. You don't really see that though unless you're staring directly at it. It paints up OK. Also the gunner position is difficult to insert as you have to insert it from the bottom of the fuselage after the fuselage has been joined and it goes into brackets that are hard to see. I wouldn't have commented on that had it not been for the fit/alignment issue with the wings. 3. Decals. They're good. They settle nicely into the panel lines. They do stick quickly though so care should be taken to make sure you don't need to slide them too much once they're on the model. 4. I wish it had crew figures
