Good starting point for an m35A1, not totally accurate
January 7, 2016
This is a good starting point for an m35A1 but, it is not totally accurate for the basic truck. AFV converted their excellent M35A2 to this version. The biggest problem is a large hole in the left (passenger) side front fender. This hole is for the M35A2 exhaust pipe to come up thru to the front of the cab mounted muffler; which the M35A1 doesn't have. If you fill this hole before assembly you can have a fairly accurate A1. For even more accuracy, the tail lights should be suspended from the bed, not on extensions from the frame rail.
