This was my first ship build, and also the smallest scale I've built. Many of the parts are extremely tiny, and required the use of tweezers and magnification to assemble, but I managed them without any problems. The kit is very well designed, detailed, and nicely molded, and includes photo-etched parts, as well as a display base with name plate. The 1:350 scale results in a very nicely detailed model that is 10 1/2 inches long when finished. A submarine makes a great first kit for someone new to ship modeling.
