This 1/72 scale kit comes from none other than the famous British model company called Airfix! The pros for this kit are as follows: The majority of the pieces fit very well without too much sanding. There are multiple views on how to paint and apply the decals onto the aircraft. The instructions are very easy to follow; although I had a hard time with the interior struts as one of them broke off while making adjustments.
The cons for this kit are as follows: The first one is subjective, but it has to be mentioned. There’s only one paint scheme you can do; which is No.19 Squadron, “A†Flight, Royal Air Force Duxford, Cambridgeshire, England, 1931. Some of the decals were kind of hard to get off the paper. One of the smaller decals that goes on the underside of the upper wing folded over and there was nothing I can do about it. But fortunately none of them were ripped apart.
In conclusion, I give this kit a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5. Airfix if you’re reading this, there’s nothing really wrong with this kit; it just needs something to make the decals easier to get off the paper and it doesn’t hurt to have more paint schemes. Other than that, a job well done!
