This is the HO Scale Long Bell Lumber Co. Skid Shacks (3) Kit from American Model Builders.
There's daylight in the woods, and that means its time to start detailing your logging camp with these new buildings. Based on prototypes built by the Long-Bell Lumber Company, these "mobile homes" were constructed with large skids on the floor so they could be dragged to new cutting sites.
You'll also find buildings like this on farms, at mining camps, or along busier steam-era highways as tourist cabins. The HO Scale kits include parts for three complete buildings, featuring laser-cut parts, peel & stick doors and windows, plus a metal smokejack. Each building measures just 2-1/2" long, 1-3/4" wide and 1-1/2" tall.
AMB kits are great in that they are very well engineered wood kits for all skill levels. I am impressed with how well the walls, roof, and doors go together. With careful weathering-painting they look like a true craftman's style kit for your HO scale logging show. The value is good for the money as you get three bunk houses for $25.00 and can fill a logging camp fast. Highly recommend this kit if you model ho scale logging in the Pacific Northwest or anywhere for that matter. It is a basic style design that works well in many locations.
