"This is a Sleeper kit"

Real nice kit that with, a little work, can be turned into an excellent model. PROS- Good fit, little flash, excellent dash detail, undercarriage details can be picked out, decent engine CONS: No front suspension, exhaust, drivetrain, axle, etc molded as 1 unit however easy to paint details, (could be considered a Pro) Exhaust manifolds not shown on instructions and fitting to exhaust pipe is unclear. I love the kit. One of my favorite builds (see pictures for details.)

"Sub par"

Good part is it comes with drag slicks and metal axles. If you can get it cheap or just want this particular year thunderbird give it a shot. Mold is good, just lacks that high detail you get in some of the other kits

"Very very basic"

This is a nice but very very basic kit. I assembled it in a day, including painting. That said, I had a lot of fun with it...it was nice to take a break for more complicated kits and it built up nicely into a cool curbside model. Decals are beautiful, although they will probably not be in everyone's taste. Body is excellent and very accurate, plating is awesome, and engine is detailed (it does also include a oil pan/transmission plate that can be installed on the chassis if you lack the skill to build the engine. Overall I had fun with this kit, but it should be a lot cheaper considering how basic it is...Round2 is kind of gouging with this kit.
