What a car!!!

My first car was a 1970 Challenger and my second was a 1971 Plymouth Duster. I bought the Duster in 1977 and still own it to this day. I love this car and have rebuilt the motor many times over. This kit, Jim Cushman Plymouth Duster, is the best kit of a Duster i have ever seen. It was a bit of a rough go with all the extra flash, but the final result was awesome! The detail is precise to every detail of a real stock car, especially in the 1970's era. From the low profile tires to the super detailed engine, this kit was a blast to build. I recommend the kit to anyone who is a fan of stock car racing or Plymouth automobiles. What a car!!!

AMT Mopar Kit Car.

OK, first off, this had been a dream car of mine for a number of years, When my step-father and I started to get into racing, we took a long hard look at making a reproduction of this car. At first look, the kit looked like an easy 1-2-3 build. It's not. The instructions are lacking details. There are no part number on the plastic parts. There is more flash than parts, and it takes a while to clean everything up. Burring is a problem. The you get to the fit. Not the best. It was like building a real race car. Bend it till it fits, them weld it, and hopes it holds. I used more CA glue then the Tamiya weld glue. I'm happy with the final product, but won't get this kit again.
