Star Trek TOS Enterprise Cutaway

This is a fun kit if you're a Trek fan. The detail is sufficient although inaccurate in places but Im not a rivet counter so that doesn't bug me. The interior detail is nice but detailed painting makes the kit pop. The decals are ok as far the markings but included in the kit is a great interior saucer decal to acompany you're painting skills. There are many aftermarket parts and decals if you want to go a step further . Once completed you can remove large sections to reveal the interior or leave them in place to display a Whole ship. I recommend just leaving these pieces off and displaying them separately due to the fact the pins that hold the sections in place can wear out. If you are the adventurous type you can glue and putty the separate pieces and get aftermarket nacelle domes to make a large kit second only to 1/350 scale Enterprise. Lighting kits exist if you want to go even a step further. A nice reissue great for the Trek Fan
