I knew when I ordered these that they would need to be repainted, but I didn't realize just how terrible they were. The picture online makes them look passable, but trust me, they aren't. The moldings are entirely lacking in detail, they figures look like death camp survivors, and the paint jobs are just dreadful. They are painted in high gloss colors that are just slapped on there. I especially like that all their feet are silver, because that's the base color. Why they thought silver was a good color for a base I have no idea. I also like that two of the figures look like they are wearing ascots and red berets, which as we all know were quite popular with railroaders back in the day. Yes, I know these are inexpensive but please don't waste your money! These are the type of products that gave Bachman their bad reputation (which in fairness to them they have done a lot to reverse).
