HGUC Qubeley Zeta Gundam

This is the personal machine of one of Gundam's big bads. I have the first HGUC version of this kit and blue extra finish model. Highly detailed mechanical details for hands and joints and nice clean, smooth, curve-linear surfaces for the armor makes a really striking contrast in the design. Some really sharp proportions especially the head, shoulders, hands, and feet. Just a beautiful design overall with a totally hyper-masculine color scheme of white, pink, and purple. Includes two beam saber/cannons that are stored in the wrists underneath (separately molded hilts and blades), plus 24 funnels that can be stored in the wasp-like tail. Articulation is great with the wing binders/shoulders not obstructing the arms' movement and the open-palm hands have swivel joint. The legs despite their bulky proportions aren't hinder and you can space them far apart. The feet have a wide range of motion and are hinged at arch to allow a more streamlined appearance in flight. This a gorgeous MS designed by Mamoru Nagano of Five Star Stories and Heavy Metal L-Gaim fame and fantastic rendering in the Revive wave of HGUC kits.

Because I experienced the older version of this, I have a lot more to appreciate since this newer one has released. Its articulation and color separation are just vastly superior. In addition it has a big, wide shelf presence. Make space for this thing as it is certainly worth it.
