"Great TIE kit"

If you are a fan of TIE fighters, you simply must add this to your collection. Not only is it a fantastically detailed model for the price, it goes together like a dream, features a modular panel of Death Star surface as a mounting stand base and includes optional clear plastic 'lasers' you can attach if you wish. Fantastic representation.

"Iconic Star Wars"

There are few science fiction ships as iconic as this one. The kit faithfully represents the origional filming model well - including all the surface details. I have built a few of these kits - the only real issue is making sure the edges of the solar panels are aligned properly, and the interior framing is mounted in the right direction. This can only be done ONCE- if you try to remove it, you will inevitably damage the fine surface detail on the solar panel. I have finished mine in the standard TIE scheme, as well as one from Inferno Squadron (Star Wars Battlefront 2, from EA) with its red windows and striping. The red windows were airbrushed with tamiya clear red. The interior is well detailed but next to impossible to see.
