"Bandai X-wing 1/72"

This was my second experience building a Bandai kit- and I can't say enough good things about it. Details are amazing, kit goes together extremely easy. Directions are simple to follow. And you have a choice of using regular waterslide decals or equally as good stickers- you can mix and match. Kit turns out really nice even if you build it straight out of the box. But if you put a little time in painting- it turns out to be quite a masterpiece- no matter how skilled you are. Big thumbs up for this one!

Extremely well done kit by Bandai. The Japanese company has clearly involved some enthusiasts in the research and design of this kit - including not one but TWO options for the rear panel of the fuselage to reflect different versions of the filming miniature! There are also TWO sections of modular Death Star base panels with this kit - one to support the spacecraft and the other is the thermal exhaust port - complete with two clear 'torpedos' rolling into it. Great work and well worth the price.

If you have long suffered with poorly engineered, ill-fitting and flash filled AMT ERTL Star Wars kits - your luck is about to change with this kit - if you can still find any on sale. The kit is simply a joy to assemble - for both neophytes and veterans to scale modeling. If you want a simple, easy to assemble X-wing that looks straight out of the Incom factory, this kit is for you. If you want to take it a step further and weather it to get that gritty, battle hardened look, you can do that too. This kit screams quality - in terms of build, fit, details & assembly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
