Y-Wing Star Fighter Star Wars

I always liked the look and concept of the Y-Wing bomber, but the fact that the turret was never used to engage enemies behind the aircraft always annoyed me. If you've had similar 'negative feelings' related to this spacecraft, then get ready to see them disappear after building this kit! WOW, it's amazing! Every aspect is captured perfectly and Bandai even went 'above and beyond' by giving detail in unexpected areas, like under the engine pod front shields - so you can model one in a damaged or 'under maintenance' scenario if you like. Includes great decals - even the TIE Fighter 'kill mark' seen on the nose of the filming miniature. AWESOME kit and super-highly recommended!

At first I wasn't sure what I thought of the Bandai Star Wars kits as they were rather like Legos. However as I have built them I've come to appreciate the extremely fine and elaborate detailing, perfect fit, and excellent build qualities. While they are molded in color and don't require painting and press fit together so don't require glue for the most part I build them in a classic fashion and that works perfectly. This kit had exquisite details of a super fine quality and the finished product really shows them off. For the most part you can't make an error as almost every part fits uniquely and can't be installed incorrectly. All their Star Wars kits are highly recommended.
