Very nice flatcar. well detailed and waiting to haul a load on any model railroad

The kit contains TWO cars and for the price is amazing. It does not contain couplers or trucks so your on your own for that. Side note on that the screws to put trucks on are 2-52 1/4” (for kadee trucks). The detail on the cars is very nice and putting one together takes about twenty minutes, you are only provided enough brackets for exactly what you need, don’t break them! Final comment, the only reason this kit recieves 4 stars is the weighting. There is no weight provided and the way the kit is designed it is almost impossible to weight it and keep all the detail, the weight must come from whatever load you add on. With that aside it is without a doubt a 5 star kit!

A very nice, well detailed kit representing two Northern Pacific flat cars. The kits go together well. Be aware that at this price, the kit does not include decals, trucks or couplers. These not included items are all readily available for builders to use their choice finish the cars. The cars come in very much under the National Model Railroad Association recommended weight and therefore, to use the cars on the rails, rather than static display, a good deal of weight must be added to each car.
