Airfix in recent years has given us great kits, with good detail, and excellent decals. This kit is no different, however, I feel the cockpit should have had a bit more detail. I built a Hasagawa HE 111 about a year ago and it had more interior detail. That being said , this is a great kit. I give this kit 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple of reasons. One, the bomb included is designated as an SD500 and included the red tail cone markings, which is fine. However, the bomb size is actually an SC2000 which is considerably bigger than an SD500 and also the SD500 has a different cone due to it's intended purpose. I did not use those decals and instead created stripes for the cone using some decals left over for a Kanonenvogel kit that I had built some years ago. The other issue I have is on page 9 steps 53 through 55. They ask you place the nose glazing on the fuselage one piece at a time. My result was that it lined up crooked, I would advise building the nose glazing as one piece and then adding it to the fuselage, you get a much better result. The details of the aircraft are beautiful and Arifix's rendition accentuates the beauty of this aircraft. Overall it is great and I do recommend this kit.
