The JU86 was an ok bomber in combat, but was reserved for training units due to heavy loses in combat. It did not fair well as other bombers such as the Heinkel HE 111 & the JU88. As far as the kit goes, it is well engineered. It also has decent detail and a a good variety to choose from on the decal sheet. I just wish they had decals for actual German units that participated in combat. The German variants offered in this kit were used in training schools. I like to build WWII planes or any plane from that era Axis, Allied, & neutral. I chose the Portuguese Air Force Variant. The plane goes together well and the instructions are clear. I highly recommend this kit.
