It is an old Airfix kit so it has it's faults. There is quite a bit of flash but that is very manageable. The decals are excellent, the problem at least for me was the canopy. Part of it is my fault as if I would have researched the storch more before I started. I may have been able to build it closer to what the actual plane looks like, let me explain. The canopy is in 2 pieces but has so much flash (at the front where the triangle roof forms) and the detail is very, very sparse. I cut away too much thinking it was all flash and had to work some magic to change the design. This won't be on my top shelf but I am pleased with how I managed to save it. I was going to box it away and try to order a canopy. From searching online someone else did just that only to receive a canopy that had the same exact problem. So I unboxed it and did what I could. In addition I did some scratch building by adding landing gear supports. And by studying the blue prints and modern photos of the aircraft I was able to construct the wing supports as well as flap supports. I recommend this to anyone who wants to give it a go as currently there are no other options in the 1/72 scale. Just be for warned of the canopy and you should be fine.
