This is a good model of the 787 and the first to do the 787 in 1/144 scale. The pieces are well detailed and fit together well. There is vey little flash around the edges. I like the detail in the engines, probably the best part of this model. The main fan blades are molded individually and highly detailed but fragile. Both wings are mounted as a single top & bottom piece that forms the bottom of the main fuselage when attached. I like this style because it makes them easier to attach with a stronger bond and ensures they will be symmetrical. Zvezda uses a different kind of plastic in molding than others that comes out dark colored and with a slightly dark texture. The decals are the only disappointment only including the barest detail. Not really a problem if you are planning to do this in an actual airline livery.
