On of my fave kits of all times and now in a fancy tin.

I have purchased and assembled this kit from a teenager then after a long absence from the hobby this recent purchase of a familiar and fun kit. It is a relativity easy kit to assemble. Perhaps a bit less filing and fitting to insure a proper fit for parts. Some flasking here and there. Chrome is good on this kit. I don't always use the supplied decals but those look good too.

A bugger to detail the small Corvette engine.a The Chrysler's larger size makes it a bit easier. Linkage for the blower is the typical challenge (at least for me). I do not buy the cast or machine bits common now (nor available at all as a teenage) but prefer to fabricate from found items. I recall thread from my mothers sewing box of a heavier gauge then what I am finding today for use as plug wires

I decided to tool this so I could have not 2 side by side or 2 inline engines, but 4 engines connected; 2 inline side by side. Very close quarters. Then I used the tube frame forgetting that It required the other. So more mods needed. But that is the fun bit. I build more than one kit at a time so as body putty and paint dries work can be done an another kit.

I like AMT a lot as it happens the second kit is AMT's Stingaree.
