Generally speaking, this is a average model and not excellent. It is a good model in that there is a small amount of flash, and 70-80 percent of the parts fit good without and sanding or putty. The not so good is that 20-30 percent of the parts have fit issues, and need help in fitting correctly, and some of these parts just plain have a bad design in fitting together with other parts.

I got this model for two main reasons, Trumpeter makes good models on the whole that fit together well, and look pretty accurate when done. The other reason is that I wanted a model of this French battleship.
