Here's some more of the 1/72d scale Infantry figures from Keller in my Ramstein Air Base diorama representing the part played by the 3/61st ADA during the Mayaguez Incident in May 1975.

I used the crawling soldiers in this kit, cut out their weapons and squeezed them into the TC's hatches to make it look like they're giving each other orders during the towing operation. I painted their boots with a glossy black to resemble how we used to spit shine our jump boots.

I used the figures from this infantry kit for the mortar crew that supported us at Ft. Knox. The ammo is painted like real 88mm, olive drab with red noses.

Here's more of the infantry men serving as tankers when their vehicle got hit and they had to evacuate. When they did their loader got hurt because, despite it being only simulated combat, it was still pretty scary. Notice I had to cut all their weapons off because we didn't carry our personal wea
