The dragline excavator from Walthers Scenemaster is a super kit. The parts are free of flash, mold lines and nubs. They all fit together perfectly. The kit is very well designed in how the parts go together. Many parts are friction fit to enable the various gears and wire spools to turn, which allows you to adjust the boom any way you want after assembly. I slightly modified how mine is rigged to be more like a regular crane and not a dragline. The treads are made of a rubbery plastic that actually take paint quite well (which surprised me). This is a great addition to my team track. My only complaint is that the otherwise thorough instructions assume that you are not going to paint the model. If you do want to paint it read the instructions thoroughly first to determine the best time to paint each section. If you build it all first, the painting will be much harder.
