This kit is made of laser cut pieces of card that you stack up to make the stairs, with very small and delicate handrails. parts are include for two types of stairs, as shown in my picture below. The instructions are minimal, but it's fairly easy to see how they are supposed to go together. I found it was best to glue the two like sizes together first (each step is made from two stacked pieces) and then glue the steps together. This helps maintain the alignment of the stairs. However no matter what you do, the seams will always show on the sides. You could coat them with spackle and sand it, but this has its own share of problems. I chose to just let them be. I primed and painted them Model Master Light Ghost Grey, then weathered them with Tamiya weathering powders. They stand 13/32nds of an inch tall, or about 3 scale feet. They look reasonably good but the tiny rails are just too delicate and refuse to stand straight without some sort of bracing.
