I really enjoyed building this model. It wasn't an easy build but well worth the effort for the end result. There are a few things to watch out for. First when building the tower, parts 14 and 15 are reversed in the instructions. Next parts 53 and 63 are also reversed. So the basic modelers technique of fitting before gluing really applies! I left off the foundation bricks until the end. It made it easier to use the foundation as a guide for building the house sections. I also did not glue the house sections to the foundation. This made it easier for me to glue together all the house sections. Also it will make it easier to do maintenance on any lighting you may install if you don't glue the house to the foundation. Over all though this is a good model and will add a bit of my childhood to my layout. I highly recommend this model.
