I previously purchased the curved road sections from this vendor and was so pleased I ordered the straight matching road. The road has a nice color and is easy to work with. I made a template out of cardboard then cut the road to match the template and glued it on. This gives the road a slight elevation allowing for a nice sloping shoulder. The roadway is wider than I like so it can be cut on each side if you desire a smaller road.
