I ordered this project when in was on sale, with the hopes that it would speed up the ballasting process, for I have roughly 100 feet of track. While I like this product, I wish I went with the more expensive one with the height adjustment. I still had to brush a lot of the ballast of the track. Also, I still had to manually ballast the turnouts, crossovers, and any spots that the wire is soldered to the track. If you have the extra money, I would highly recommend the more expensive one with the height adjustment. However, I am glad that I didn’t get the simpler version without the shut-off valve. The shut-off valve is a big help.
