This is an excellent kit in just about every way. The fit is superb, though I'd recommend leaving the pilot and observer figures out to ensure the fuselage goes together cleanly. Parts go together snugly, but they should only need a light sanding to make them work. Even the landing gear, which looked like a fiddly arrangement of four flimsy pieces, ended up straight and solid. Surface detail is deeply engraved, and won't vanish under a few coats of paint; the canopy has raised framing which makes it easier to finish, though it's not to scale. Inside the cockpit and fuselage is just enough detail, though most of it will disappear once you've glued it together. Marking options include a grey anti-shipping aircraft and an SEAC plane with white stripes; torpedoes and rockets are also included.
