This is Airfix's updated Bristol Blenheim kit, which came out in 2014. It is everything you'd expect from a modern model kit: scads of detail inside and out, precise fit, quality decals, and various options. Bombs are supplied for the open bomb bay, and the landing gear can be positioned up or down; you can also attach the flaps and rudder in different attitudes. The cockpit is fairly complete for the scale, which makes it a bit fiddly, but it works. This boxing is for the bomber version, which means it has the small rear-facing gun mounting, rather than the larger forward-facing gun pack of the fighter versions. The Mark IV has the longer nose, which you assemble separately from the fuselage. The fit is extremely tight, but if you proceed carefully and make sure to clean up the joining surfaces beforehand, you will be rewarded. There are two options: the one on the box art in Free French markings -- with the cross of Lorraine supplied in blue and red, according to your preference; and one with black undersides based in Scotland.
