This retooled offering of the old MPC Tie Interceptor is a nice surprise from Round 2. The old, weakly detailed ship body has been replaced by the highly detailed body from the old AMT/ERTL Imperial TIE Fighters kit and that instantly propels this kit into rivalry with modern, smaller versions of the Interceptor.
