Mini mosquito all done. Ready to launch.

The mini mosquito is always a fun build. Having experienced the "one and done" launch years ago I decided to try this approach to see how it goes. I know using the rubber shock cord is a bit of a risk but we'll see what happens. I'm going to build a second one using Kevlar thread as a shock cord.

Ok, my 2 mosquitos. The one with round nosecone has the rubber shockcord. The pointy nosecone has kevlar shockcord. Both flew well, ejected the nosecone as intended, and fell back to earth where they could be easily found. The engines also remained in place so no litter due to the motor ejecting.
