A lot of modelers stay away from AMT rig kits because they are challenging to build but that's one of the things model building is all about,also,back in the early 1970s AMT had the guts to tool &release kits like these.this kit took 2 months to build,you have to be patient when building one of these kits,lots of test fitting and taping parts together is a must ,the rear axles have to be notched for the inboard 4 axle brackets to sit low enough so the truck don't sit too high in the back,the exhaust Y pipe MUST have an elbow added or none of the air&exhaust pipes will fit,nor will the cab sit level,i carved an elbow from a piece of thick runner that was in the kit,i scratch built yellow fog lights,dished the head light buckets and installed scratch built head light lenses,side emblems were sanded thin also,gave it a coat of silver followed by transparent blue,there are too many things i did to list here but i always wanted to successfully build one of these AMT rig kits ,i think it came out pretty good
