I had forgotten how complicated this model was. The Trumpeter instruction booklet was also full of errors and difficult too understand. I chose to model the Gerat 040 early chassis with the 600mm gun in the firing position. That early chassis and all the fiddly little parts was a royal pain in the ass! Had to use brute force and straps, clamps, tie-wraps, etc.. to hold everything in place while the glue dried/cured. The personnel platforms, and very thin hand rails was also a royal pain in the ass. I should have chosen the lowered in-transport mode with the platforms folded up. I do not recommend the kit for an in-experienced modeler.
