I had not worked with this Tamiya color previously and I am using it for a full car body. For hand painting it seems fine right out of the bottle. The metal flake is a bit heavy so for airbrushing I would suggest going a little heavier on the thinner. I started at 1:1 and ended up at around 1.75:1 (thinner: paint). That was about perfect for the airbrush (0.3mm nozzle). This has a notably deeper color than most gunmetals ive used.
