The LOC Precision Expediter is a great kit for someone looking to enter the realm of High Power model rocketry. Keep in mind that this rocket comes stock with a 54mm motor mount and will need to be adapted down to 29mm to fly on the G motors available from Hobbylinc. The smallest motor that I would recommend that Hobbylinc sells is the G64W reload for the 29-40/120 case, and anything with a higher average thrust should works as well.
The rocket comes with a plastic transition that really makes for a unique look. This transition is easily modified to accept a flight computer for dual deployment. If you are purchasing this kit to fly with motor deployment immediately but may do electronic deployment in the future, I highly recommend that you do not permanently attach the fore 3 tube to the transition. Instead, attach it with three 6/32 screws or Push rivets (Part Number 91020A240 from McMaster.com).
I'd also recommend that you install a 1/4-20 eyebolt in the fore centering ring and swap out the elastic shock cord for tubular nylon or tubular kevlar. This will last a lot longer with a much smaller chance of breaking.
The Expediter is a great rocket!
