My daughter wanted to do this as her first model to do all by herself. She enjoyed it very much. She was able to understand the instructions for the most part without any problem. All the pieces fit together nice and easy. She was also happy that if she made a mistake, it was able to be fixed. She also liked that it was sturdy, so that she could play with it after the assembly. Finally, she very much enjoyed the fact that it had noise (3 different actions noises), lights (the engine output), and landing gear that she could raise and lower depending on what her imagination called for.
