A Call To Arms offers historically accurate and affordable sets of plastic figures and the Waterloo French Light Infantry set is no exception. There are some issues however. First there are- as with all of their sets- only 4 poses. Second, the poses are not overly dynamic. Third, scale varies from set to set. The French Infantry figures tend to be more along the lines of 51mm not the 54mm or 1/32 scale implied. However, the figures given are historically accurate and well detailed. Equipment is proper and correct. Shako and cartridge box plates are not always legible but are there. Facial detail is good considering the smaller size. I have seen better sculpting in other sets but from what I can see in all my uniform guides, including Ugo Pericoli's Armies at Waterloo, someone really did their research. Every set I have seen ACTA produce are worth the price and this set is no exception.
