Last year, I wanted to do something for my future layout to honor 9/11. I made this September 11th Memorial to add to a future park on my layout.

The girder was bent by heating it over a candle and then using pliers to shape it. It was then painted and burn marks and rust were added by paints, washes and chalks. I lived in Bayonne when the towers were hit and they used our town for staging and much of the bent and burned steel as well as debr
