This is mostly a run-the-mill Sd.Kfz.251/1 model. It isn't fancy, for example the front wheels do not turn and the tracks don't operate, but the back doors do open. Nice interior detail. The quality of the parts is generally good.

Really the only significant challenge is the tracks. This kit has the individual links that you have to assemble - first to glue the pads onto the link, and then to connect the links together, one by one, 55 or 56 links to each track. It is easy to break the links as you are connecting them because the plastic is thin and easily bent to the breaking point. Also, all those little pads you glued on individually tend to come off as you struggle with assembling the links - super glue works better than normal model glue. The finished effect is much more realistic than the old fashioned flexible track.
