Kit had tremendous flash to trim. Parts atached to the sprue trees were joined with thick plastic. Had to trim or sand every part that was attached that way. I use sprue cutters, sand paper and exacto....
This was the surprise of my model building life. What fun! The kit was very detailed. Good quality, No flash, beautiful chrome accents. This was my first Big rig to build and will not be my last. Grea....
I built and painted mine like the picture on the box. The orange paint looks really good. I like the detailed decals for the instruments and all the dashboard. This kit was a lot of fun to build. I'm ....
From the pictures submitted by others I see they had better luck than I did. My previous experience with AMT models has been disappointing. This Nova had lots of flash to trim. The windshield was warp....

A neat and fun model to assemble. There was no excess flash on the parts trees (thanks Revell). Good directions. I painted mine bright yellow Crylon paint for plastics. It is great and dries in @15 mi....
This isn't Grandma's Buick! This is a great model to build. I have a close friend in El Dorado Arkansas the has Grand National that is similar to the GNX model and it is sharp. This kit is great quali....
I like the first reviewer said I wasn't caring to paint it blue so I painted mine metallic maroon lacquer. It looks fantastic and the white stripes really sets it off. The red Viper engine looks cool ....
This kit was exciting to assemble. In order for the car to look like it is depicted on the box you will have to do some masking the body and paint the red portion separately from the white. I use Frog....
Lots of fun here! Kit was well engineered. The fit and finish is good on this car. I really enjoyed putting this GTO together.....
