The AK Interactive line of acrylic polymer surface primers is a cost effective and practical means to prime your models and figures. While enamel is quite durable, the cost of spray cans can be quite exhaustive on your wallet just as the product(s) are limited by the power of the propellant and quantity of paint contained within.
As an airbrush [Badger, Patriot 105] user I have witnessed the potential of the product as it overcomes my own mediocre airbrushing skills. It is suitable to use straight from the bottle and requires no additional thinning. The primer does well to level out and dry with a smooth surface even when accidentally loaded on otherwise. One pitfall is that it can be chipped from the model during routine handling, but this problem is easily countered by always wearing disposable gloves. I would have rated the product 4-1/2 stars if possible, so I rounded to a full 5 as it was the closer option to my opinion.
Happy modelling
