This particular paint will provide a great metal flake finish onto your project, as long as you apply it carefully. This particular paint took me two coats to cover the model adequately, and a third to apply the finish coat that I desired, be sure to mix the can very thoroughly prior to spraying, otherwise you will have a finish that is inconsistent with some areas more black and some more metal. Note that while this color is called graphite gray, it is rather dark for a gray, I personally put this color closer to a lighter black in finish, but with the metal flake within it, it can create a perfect dark colored flake effect on top of even a regular primer. The draw-back to this particular paint is that it does have a rather wet application to it, so you have to use care to not over spray the project with this paint, as it will run pretty easy, also worth mentioning it does have a very strong chemical/metal odor for this particular spray can compared to others I've used from the same company. If you're looking for a very high-quality very dark gray metal finish this paint is a good choice for you, but you do have to use care and patience in application as this particular blend does take a bit more effort than other products from the same company.
