My first car I painted Plum Crazy Purple.

The engine is a custom mixed Peach color. All of the details I hand painted.

I made some hood pins out of bead wire. It was challenging to make them in 1:24 scale but I managed to do it.

The shaker air cleaner had an emblem on it so I hand painted it a chrome trim silver to make it stand out.

I added purple thread as plug wires to match the plum crazy purple paint. I also added red and yellow thread for battery cables.

To make the hood pin cables, I used gray thread that is closest to the same color as the braided cable on the real car.

I painted the rim of the steering wheel a wood brown to make it look like a wood steering wheel. I also added gray felt to the floor to make carpet.
