I love the model. I hand painted it mint green and white with a white interior. I didn't put the original engine in it, I put in a custom Ford V8 with a tri-power carburetor setup. I even painted the engine to match the body color. If I were to enter one model into a contest, this one would be it.

I painted it a custom mixed Light Aqua and White. I added side pipes to make it look low without actually lowering the car. The trim is painted Chrome Silver. I love this model.

I made it to where I can turn the front wheels. The side trim is painted Chrome Silver.

I painted the gas cap Chrome Silver so that it would stand out. It even comes with a removable gas cap cover.

The engine is not original to the model. I installed a custom built Tri Power Ford V8 which I painted to match the body.

I added plug wires made of thread that match the mint green color on the body. The battery cables are also thread and they match the white color on the body. The radiator hose is a tan bead cord.

I added a tiny little photo etch key on a keychain. It took a couple of tries but I managed to get the job done.

I added some new parts to the engine bay. On the left side is an air compressor for the air conditioning. On the right is the power steering pump.

I added an extra photo etch chain link license plate frame over the top of the previous one to make it look more 3 dimensional than 2 dimensional.

I added a custom chrome plated exhaust tip to the end of the exhaust pipe. I had to modify the end of the original exhaust pipe in order to make it fit. The exhaust tip is not from this model.
