When I do my models, I sometimes keep them looking like how they are displayed on the box. However, I "made" this gold color for the vehicle!

Painted the skeletons, bones, even tried to paint faces on the skeletons, that DIDN'T WORK! All I had to do was fill in the "holes" on their skulls, oh well. Custom green color for hat
