Left crossbuck has been modified with LEDs with flasher circuit that will be under the layout. The right two have no lights, just the warning sign.

All 4 cross bucks. Two nearest are on a siding so no flashers. Rear two are on the mainline. They have tiny LEDs in place of crystals supplied in kit, wired underneath layout.

Here is my Micron Art Z scale crossing sign with 2mm LED lights replacing the crystals in the kit. Photo transistors in the track trigger the blinking circuit and the lights alternate, all in a briefcase! Three #32 magnet wires fit in 1/16" brass tube for the shaft.
