I separated the covered platform from the station and added overhead LED lights. The lights are simple Z sized street lamps through the platform at the uprights.

This is the other platform. Kit has two. Separated kit makes 3 stations, The overhead lighting with green shades is more visible here, just small streetlamps.

I built 2 more of the separated open platform stations and spaced them up on 1/8th inch balsa to be level with KATO track. Again, I illuminated them with bare LEDs on the left and street lamps on the right. Right front shows the new suburban station roof finished with brick colored weathering powd
