I love hard plastic: breaks can be prepared, poses modified, and hold the paint job. A couple of items to note: while wonderfully crafted, there are too many BARs in this set - 6 I believe out of the 57 figures. On the other hand, at 21, there are not enough garande rifle poses - assuming the modeler wants to make a '1 figure = 1 man, in a roughly 42 man WW2 rifle platoon. Some game systems allow different ratios so that 6 Bars could be spread out to model more than just one platoon. Add to that, historically the US Army increased its allottment of BARs per company by 6 as the war progressed, recognizing that US rifle companies were scrounging extra BARs.
