My first disappointment was discovering the were soft plastic. I made this purchase from a '1/72 Plastic Soldier Review' article. I guess Italeri switched to soft plastic since writing. The M1919 and 60mm mortar are well crafted - my only problem is the MG gunner is sitting to fire - the figure should be prone. I plan to cut this gunner away from the gun, use same as an AT or mortar gunner, and mount the M1919 to the prone gunner from my Eschi set - waste not, want not. On the other hand, the crouching figure with the well-crafted SCR-300 radio Walkie-talkie with make excellent FO and command teams. Another outstanding piece is the standing officer figure with M-1/2 carbine and binoculars.
